One 12 oz Bag is several pounds when hydrated. Made from freshly ground USDA meat, organ, and bone sources. Each diet is 95% meat, organs, and bones with a portion of these products from certified organic sources. Together, these quality meats, organs, and bones are rich in Vitamins A, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12, C, D, E, K, Biotin; Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids, protein, fats, zinc, manganese, selenium, iron, calcium, phosphorus, sulphur, copper, and the essential amino acids. 5% of each Natures Variety Freeze Dried Diets contain human edible and certified organic sprouts, fruits, vegetables, and cold processed Norwegian Virgin Salmon Oil. All contain an organic source of over 50 trace mineral colloidal silicates called montmorillonite. FEEDING GUIDE AND DIRECTIONS:
Prairie Brand Freeze Dried Diets can be fed as singular meals or be used as a supplement, treat, training aid, or added to other foods as a palatant. Rotate and use in variety with other Nature's Variety freeze dried diets, dry kibble diets, raw frozen diets and canned foods. There are approximately 48 medallions per bag. When introducing a new diet, always transition over a period of several days in order to avoid digestive disturbances. The following amounts should be decreased in proportion to the amount of supplementation with other Nature's Variety Diets. If Prairie Freeze Dried Diet is fed singularly during any one day, the suggested feeding guide is recommended with adjustments being made for factors such as stress, activity and breed. 16 medallions per day, add 1-1/2 cups water if reconstituted As the product is mostly meat and has no grain, it will not swell up or absorb much water. It takes about 15 minutes for reconstitution.
